Maunin is a sophomore at Virginia Tech studying Aerospace Engineering. He has been involved with VTMUNC since his freshman year, when he chaired at VTMUNC II, and he also participated in Model UN throughout high school. Outside of Model UN, Maunin is active on several design teams at Virginia Tech and is always working on creative engineering projects, from building satellites to experimenting with 3D-printed tech. He is thrilled to be serving as your Secretary General this year and looks forward to welcoming delegates to an exciting conference in Blacksburg!
Daniel is a sophomore at Virginia Tech, double-majoring in Political Science and Multimedia Journalism. He has been involved in MUN@VT since his freshman year and staffed the collegiate conference, BIRDMUNC, last year. Outside of Model UN, Daniel is a tour guide for the university. Daniel is extremely excited to be the Director-General for this conference and cannot wait to welcome delegates to Blacksburg in February!
Vidhi is a sophomore at Virginia Tech, majoring in Computational Modeling and Data Analytics. She has been involved in Model UN since her sophomore year of high school and currently serves as the USG for General Assemblies. Outside of MUN, Vidhi researches at Virginia Tech’s Uncrewed Systems Lab, is a Sports Analyst for the Men’s Ice Hockey team, and is an active leader across student organizations such as HackViolet and the CMDA Club. In her free time, she plays pickleball and loves watching rom coms at 2x speed. She can’t wait to see the creativity and passion delegates bring to Blacksburg this year!
Matthew is a senior majoring in International Relations with minors in Spanish and PPE. He has been involved in MUN@VT since freshmen year and has staffed VTMUNC since its inaugural conference in 2023. Outside of Model UN, Matthew writes for the school paper, the Collegiate Times, and enjoys watching and playing soccer. Matthew is excited to welcome delegates to Blacksburg for a great conference!
Jonathan is a sophomore at Virginia Tech majoring in Chemical Engineering. He has been involved in Model UN since freshman year and has staffed VT MUNC II and the VT collegiate conference, BIRDMUNC. Besides Model UN, Jonathan is involved in undergraduate research in a sustainable materials lab. Jonathan is excited to be the Under Secretary General of Crisis Simulations and for the conference in February!
Anneli Sample is a junior majoring in International Relations with minors in Spanish and Data & Decisions from Northern Virginia. She is excited to return for the third iteration of VTMUNC after serving as a Head Chair and the USG of GAs during the first and second iterations. Outside of Model UN, she is a DJ at VT's radio station, WUVT, and the Secretary of Planned Parenthood Generation Action at VT. She is excited to make VTMUNC III the best conference yet!
Samyuktha Venkatraman is a sophomore from the Greater Richmond area, majoring in Political Science and Criminology with a concentration in Legal Studies and minoring in Science, Technology, and Law. Apart from her involvement in Model UN, she’s a member of VT Mock Trial, VT Dhamaal (the premier Raas team), Phi Alpha Delta (PAD Pre Law fraternity) and other organizations on campus. In her leisure time, she enjoys practicing Bharatanatyam, an ancient form of classical dancing from India, that she has been training in for 14 years. Samyuktha previously served as your Chief of Staff for VTMUNC II, and she is extremely excited to serve as your Under-Director General of Charity and Fundraising for the third iteration of VTMUNC.
Srini is a sophomore at Virginia Tech studying aerospace engineering with a minor in green engineering. This is his second year doing collegiate MUN, where he staffed for BIRDMUNC last year. He was also a crisis director in BIRDMUNC II this year. Apart from MUN, Srini serves as the Electronics & Propulsion lead for Design, Build, Fly at VT and is an undergraduate researcher under Dr. Todd Lowe, specializing in sustainable aeronautical propulsion. He looks forward to the lively debates you will have this year!
Jaden is a junior at Virginia Tech studying Political Science with minors in both philosophy and psychology. He enjoys playing video games, reading, or playing sports. Jaden has been in MUN for 2 years now competing at his first and only competition thus far at &mun. Jaden aspires to become a lawyer and further his career into politics as well.
Reese is a junior at Virginia Tech majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a minor in Science, Technology, and Law. This is her second year with VTMUNC and her first on the Secretariat. Outside of Model UN, she serves as Secretary for Mock Trial. Reese is thrilled to be Chief of Staff and could not be more excited for February!
